My Big Fat Greek Bistro

Who doesn't like Greek food? Gyros, Tzatziki, Hummos...what's not to like? There simply aren't enough good Greek restaurants around San Diego. When I find one, I make sure to tell the gang.

Well, I've found one. Apollonia Greek Bistro located on Genessee in La Jolla has my taste buds tingling. The cuisine of Apollonia allow natural flavors to emerge and stimulate the senses. They have refined some traditional favorites into a repertoire of much lighter dishes by reducing the fat content while retaining the zest, tempting aromas and robust flavors that are hallmarks of Greek fare.

Their exciting menu is designed to accommodate both vegetarian and omnivorous diners. They encourage you to enjoy some of the authentic dishes that their generous menu offers. Included are age-old favorites such as Dolmathakia and Moussaka, alongside some absolute surprises guaranteed to tantalize your adventurous curiosity.

It is the perfect place to take someone special. They will also give you a FREE entree when you but another entree of equal or greater value and two beverages! Now that's how you save money and eat good!

Sushi Time!

It's not very often that I get to promote a sushi restaurant. Pretty ironic considering how much I love sushi. I assume you enjoy your fair share as well. Finally we've chosen an awesome spot in the UTC area of La Jolla to brag about. It's called KI Sushi & Sake Bar. Ever heard of it?
