Calling All Bodyboarders in S.D.

This is San Diego. We've got it all. I will never leave my city for some place else. Some people can't stand the taxes and the congestion but when you live in a location like we do, it's worth the hassle.

Our beaches are so beautiful. One of a kind in the U.S. And our waves? We will always have waves. I will always be content with my day if I can get out to one of the local spots and catch a few.
If you don't utilize them enough now, you should. It's really simple. Grab a bodyboard and a wetsuit, drive to the beach, and get in the water.

If it's been a while for you, let me tell you, the technology of today will blow you away. The bodyboard industry has progressed so much since the days of the original Morey Boogie Boards. There are simply so many new, progressive products out there now. I did some San Diego research to find myself the best place to upgrade my quiver and I found the spot...

Falcon's Bodyboard Shop, located right on the North Coast Highway in Encinitas, has EVERYTHING you could ever need when it comes to bodyboard products and expertise. They literally have the largest selection of bodyboards and accessories and over 20 years of riding experience. They properly fit the correct sized board to your height, weight, and riding style.

As a Locallife partner, they have created a great deal for anyone with a desire to live a little.

Get $15 off at Falcon's Bodyboard Shop when you make a purchase of $150 or more.

Now get up and go experience our beautiful city from an ocean's view!

The Best Stay-Cation Spot in San Diego

Going out in downtown San Diego for the night is always such a fun time. There are literally so many things to do. I almost feel like I'm in an trendy east coast city sometimes...you just wouldn't think you're right next to the Pacific Ocean when you're walking through the Gaslamp Quarter. Great restaurants, chill lounges, local bars, and big city night clubs. It's a far contrast to our equally amazing beach towns. Seaport Village, Petco Park, the Convention Center, the Marina...America's Finest City.

The biggest concern for most San Diegans when they go out in downtown is deciding how they will get home if they have one too many drinks. Or, at least that's what I worry about haha. San Diego is so spread out. We all love going downtown, but that parking/designated driver thing is always a concern.

Why not just stay downtown for the night?! What a concept! Have as much care-free fun downtown and know you have a safe cozy bed to sleep in a few blocks away. It's like a mini vacation from the real world. I've found the most logical, enticing deal in town that's so worth the trip: $89 Holiday Rates at Residence Inn by Marriott in downtown San Diego. Go here ---> http://bit.ly/hw6UMb

The Residence Inn San Diego Downtown hotel is located on the Pacific Highway off of Interstate-5, one mile southeast of the San Diego International Airport (SAN). This wonderful hotel is set in a vibrant urban neighborhood that was created for travelers seeking stylish accommodations, exceptional service, convenient location and of course, value.

It's a prime stay-cation spot as well as an amazing place for visitors worldwide to experience America's Finest City. Take your significant other downtown and treat yourselves to a nice dinner, a stop at a nice lounge or bar, and top it all off with a room at the Residence Inn San Diego. The deal only lasts until January 31, 2011 so pick a night!

Put Your Dancin' Shoes On!

I'm somebody that claims to have some dancing skills. I'm not afraid to put myself out there and groove to the music. I mean, we all think we can dance. We do it in front of the mirror and we do it on the dance floor. Why not? Being confident in front of your peers is always a good thing.

Once I realized this, I further discovered that I am absolutely one dimensional when it comes to dancing. You can only go so far when you're self taught. What will I do when I go abroad? When I'm at a wedding? I can only dance to hip-hop music!

I did some local research and found the perfect place to hone my dancing skills to that next level. To the point where I am casually busting out moves that people would NEVER expect me to be capable of doing. It's called Strictly For Fun and it's right in Hillcrest.

Ginger Sarmento is the instructor and she is just the best! She can teach you every style you could ever want to learn! Samba, Merengue, Tango, Waltz, the Jitter Bug, you name it. All it takes is a little motivation on your part to expand your library of moves.

Check out her special deals!!! Click this link: http://bit.ly/cPERxk

Don’t just take it from me; check out these awesome reviews from her students!

“Dear Ginger, We just wanted to drop you a quick note before leaving for Italy. We've definitely been "bitten by the dance bug" and our "First Dance" was great! We got lot's of compliments on being a great dance couple and bragged to everyone about our great instructor!! We'll be home June 6 and are very much looking forward to resuming our lessons. We love working with you--you definitely bring out the best in us (not only as dancers, but also very much as a couple).” - Lydia, Halle, and Naz

“Knowing that I can feel good about dancing has been an incredible confidence booster for me. When I first came to class I was so scared. But you accepted me through all that and helped me let go of all the fears. Most of all—you taught me how to laugh! By the way, I love laughing with you.” - Brooke Nielson

Thank you for enhancing my life through the social ease and confidence that I have acquired by learning to dance. I think you are a terrific teacher and a great person.” - Brian Hedges

Be creative! Take someone on a spontaneous date to “Strictly For Fun” in Hillcrest and have a ball!

When I was in high school my teeth became a big issue self esteem-wise. They were a little out of place but I felt like I was too old to get braces...especially since I would have them in college! I didn't know what to do.

My dentist suggested I get Invisalign. Once I found out what it was I made the leap. Clear, removable braces?! What a dream come true. A few years later and I had perfect teeth.

Torrey Pines Dental Arts is offering $500 OFF their Invisalign package!

Take it from those who have worked with them:

"Dr. Tash
, Thank you and your wonderful team for making me want to smile again big time."

"Dr. Sherman, In today’s world not many people go beyond what’s needed to extend their kindness! Thank you for caring about the people you take care of and wanting to give them the best smiles possible."

If you or your child is going through something like I did, don't even think twice. Call Torrey Pines Dental Arts today!
