Put Your Dancin' Shoes On!

I'm somebody that claims to have some dancing skills. I'm not afraid to put myself out there and groove to the music. I mean, we all think we can dance. We do it in front of the mirror and we do it on the dance floor. Why not? Being confident in front of your peers is always a good thing.

Once I realized this, I further discovered that I am absolutely one dimensional when it comes to dancing. You can only go so far when you're self taught. What will I do when I go abroad? When I'm at a wedding? I can only dance to hip-hop music!

I did some local research and found the perfect place to hone my dancing skills to that next level. To the point where I am casually busting out moves that people would NEVER expect me to be capable of doing. It's called Strictly For Fun and it's right in Hillcrest.

Ginger Sarmento is the instructor and she is just the best! She can teach you every style you could ever want to learn! Samba, Merengue, Tango, Waltz, the Jitter Bug, you name it. All it takes is a little motivation on your part to expand your library of moves.

Don’t just take it from me; check out these awesome reviews from her students!

“Dear Ginger, We just wanted to drop you a quick note before leaving for Italy. We've definitely been "bitten by the dance bug" and our "First Dance" was great! We got lot's of compliments on being a great dance couple and bragged to everyone about our great instructor!! We'll be home June 6 and are very much looking forward to resuming our lessons. We love working with you--you definitely bring out the best in us (not only as dancers, but also very much as a couple).” - Lydia, Halle, and Naz

“Knowing that I can feel good about dancing has been an incredible confidence booster for me. When I first came to class I was so scared. But you accepted me through all that and helped me let go of all the fears. Most of all—you taught me how to laugh! By the way, I love laughing with you.” - Brooke Nielson

Thank you for enhancing my life through the social ease and confidence that I have acquired by learning to dance. I think you are a terrific teacher and a great person.” - Brian Hedges
