Be Good Boys and Girls...Take Your Vitamins!

Hello my fellow San Diegans and Earthlings,

March went by so fast for me. Living every day to the fullest will do that to you. I mean when you find fun things to do during the day, time doesn't seem to exist. How insanely beautiful was the weather last week?! Getting a little sun on the skin really wakes up the body. Plus you get that natural Vitamin D from the old sun, which is always good.

I had a huge scare the other day though. I was skateboarding back from the beach over the weekend (rough I know) when I was abruptly stopped by an enormous ditch in the road. I was speeding on my board so just imagine what happened...I flew in the air and landed right on my elbow, skidding on the pavement. I was sure it was broken or at least a little chipped, but you really can't do much abou
t elbows. It seems to be fine now but man, it got me realizing how fragile our bodies are.

I never thought about taking vitamins to replenish all the good chemicals my body needs because my mom used to always force them on me as a kid. She knew what she was doing.

I decided that day I was going to take care of myself a little better than I had my entire active life.
Having decided that, I got on Locallife.com and searched for some deals at vitamin and food supplement stores in San Diego. It didn't take long to find a deal...the Great Earth Vitamin Store in beautiful La Jolla has been offering $5 off any purchase for quite some time. I flew over there on my skateboard haha to check it out.

Great Earth Vitamin Store is awesome. They have everything you could ever want to keep you on a healthy, stronger track. I bought so many different vitamins...it was super fun to be honest. Our bodies always need to be kept in shape. Eating right, exercising, and finishing the process off with some good vitamins and supplements will only help you stay strong and healthy.

What was my most important purchase at Great Earth? Well, calcium of course...cuz I ain't seeing no doctor about this elbow of mine! Later!

What A Deal!

So I've been tweeting a lot of deals lately on our Locallife Twitter Page. If you haven't been there yet, get a move on! Every day I post at least ten of the best deals in San Diego. I love checking to see which have the best responses. There's one deal, that for weeks now, has been so popular it's laughable. Such a simple deal, yet so great.

Buy one get one free Ben & Jerry's ice cream! That's all it takes. So many people have checked it out. Personally, I know my girl and all her friends are obsessed with having their own bowl of Ben & Jerry's ice
cream. They just watch Lifetime movies and stuff their face with a little Cherry Garcia. I get it. I mean there are so many good flavors. Combine that with a steamy love story on Lifetime? Maybe add a twisted murder plot to the story?...you won't get your girlfriend's attention for a solid three hours. I can't complain...I hope she doesn't read this ha.

Who was so smart as to create such a deal? Village Market in Rancho Santa Fe. Having been in business for over thirty years, they know how to get people's taste buds tingling. They're a gourmet market, offering everything from cold sandwiches to fresh steak and lobster. If you're around North County check them out. Not only for fresh food, but for some FREE Ben & Jerry's!

Get Some Color!

Hey girls!

The sun is finally starting to show up. I'm not gonna lie, a few days ago I looked quite pale in the sunlight haha. I don't have the time to lay out and go through the whole process in order to fit in during the Spring. I went to Tan-N-Sea right on Friars Road, super close to San Diego State...and now I actually look like I'm from California again ha. Obviously, I wouldn't have tried a new spot unless they had a great deal for me...

Tan-N-Sea is offering a FREE 20 minutes of relaxing steam, vibrating massage, aromatherapy, infrared & coenzyme treatment!

That is such a great deal are you kidding?! Everyone there is super cool too. For those of you who aren't naturally bronzed and healthy looking haha, like me, print that coupon out and liven up! If you don't live near State, but need some color, go to our savings page and find a deal near you...I know we've got it.

The New Buzz in Skincare

What's up girls!

What's new? Isn't life great in Southern California? I wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the world. Spring is almost here too! I definitely plan on spending a lot more time outside once this rain stops messing with us.

So I was looking through the Locallife Coupon Page this morning and stumbled upon a killer deal. This is so exciting. Acu-Care Health Centers in San Diego and Bonita are offering 50% off their facial rejuvenation treatment! If you haven't heard of facial rejuvenation yet, let me fill you in...

First of all, we know about Botox and face lifts but those are quite intense for a little appearance boost. We're talkin needles in the face or even going under the knife! Acu-Care's facial rejuvenation doesn't involve invasive surgery, painful needles, redness, flaking, downtime or discomfort. It's called microlight facial rejuvenation, and it is heralded as the future in skincare technology! Microlight facial rejuvenation is the perfect renewal system for those who want to hold the hands of time at bay and look their best.

Acu-Care's website is so helpful too. They provide so much information on the process and don't leave any stone unturned. What a cheap way to look good without having to take that big step to Botox or surgery. 50% off is such a bargain!

Round up all your girlfriends, jump in the car, and go to Acu-Care Health Centers for this win-win opportunity to upgrade your already naturally beautiful face!
